Open Kitchen MCR joined in the Oktoberfaust (commonly known as Octoberfest in the UK) celebrations at Beer Nouveau this month! If you didn't know already, we collaborative with the awesome Beer Nouveau each month to bring you SURPLUS, an evening of delicious beers and street food dishes made from ingredients that would otherwise go to waste!
Beer Nouveau served a wide variety of authentic German beers whilst we served a selection of dishes including lamb stew, vegan wursts and handmade pretzels. It just wouldn't be a proper Oktoberfaust without pretzels!
