What can we say, 2019 was a fantastic year for stopping food waste in Manchester! We intercepted over 45 tonnes of perfectly edible food and household items that would have gone to waste by working with retailers, supermarkets, small businesses and the Gleaning Network.
We have provided 1,440 hot, nutritious meals for people experiencing crisis and have continued to redistribute beautiful food items such as fruit, yogurts, cereals and baby food to essential homelessness hostels and local food banks such as Emmeline's Pantry.
This of course has only been possible because of the awesome people and businesses that choose to use our ethical catering service and attend our events. You guys made this happen and we absolutely love you all.
